Rachel grew up in Middlebury, Vermont and graduated from Johns Hopkins University. She fell in love with photography during a year long trip around the world with her family, which gave her the opportunity to photograph wonders from the Great Pyramids to Machu Picchu to the Taj Mahal; scenic locales from the blue roofs of the Greek Islands to the rice paddies of rural China; and creatures from zebras and lions on safari in Tanzania to elephants in the sanctuaries of Thailand. Rachel is based in Manhattan, but enjoys shooting anywhere her camera, clients and wanderlust take her.
